Finally I finished assembling the vintage computer shelves I bought on Amazon! ๐ I mounted them in my office.
I am filling them with the retro computers I have in my collection, but also with the devices and electronic boards that I design and build with my company.
So, when some customers come to my office, I can also show them some products to buy and not just vintage computers!
Initially, I bought only a couple of shelves, on Amazon. These measure 97.5 x 30 x 100 cm (width x depth x height): they fit well on the wall under the windows. I mounted them detached from the wall because, between wall and shelf, the curtains flow.
They consist of shelves spaced differently. The upper and lower shelves have 3 spaces, smaller, about 30 cm wide each (x 30 cm high and as many deep). In these shelves I can fit smaller computers and consoles, such as the Sinclair ZX81, the ZX Spectrum, the Atari 2600, as well as various accessories, such as datassette and more.
Instead, the central shelf is divided into 2 larger spaces, over 46 cm wide (x 27 cm high and, as already noted, 30 cm deep), where larger computers can be inserted, such as the Commodore 64 , Vic20, Plus/4, Atari 600XL, 130XE, etcโฆ
For taller or wider monitors and computers, I can use the top shelf of the shelf.
I was thinking of painting them gray, to match them with other finishes in the office, but I noticed that they are also fine white: there are less slamming!
Subsequently, I bought a third shelf, identical to the two already purchased. Obviously, you have to make decisions quite quickly, because you know: on Amazon you do not always find the items you have previously purchased.
Finally I opted to buy a last shelf, the fourth, to fill the free space on the right. Of course, I could have made the purchase with a bang at first, but I was undecided whether to fill the whole wall with vintage computer shelves or whether to leave free spaces. Also, as mentioned earlier, I wasn't even sure about the color.
Slowly, I will fill them with computers and vintage accessories!
Good evening Mr. Valoroso, I am writing to you about an amiga 600 that turns on but does not send video signals of any kind, could you advise me something, thank you and good evening
Howdy! I saw that she filled out the contact form to contact me, so I wrote her an email. If you don't see it, check spam as well.
